Janet has an Honours B.A.Sc. with a major in Child Studies from the University of Guelph and a B. Ed., from the University of Toronto. She taught elementary school for 7 years and continues to work with children and youth at her church, during the summer at camp, and throughout the year as she continues to mentor L.I.T.’s (link to L.I.T. Program) and Summer Team members.
Janet first attended camp at a very young age and was a member of the Summer Team from 1984 – 1988.
With Adullam, she teaches at Training Week, directs Cooking Camp, and sometimes leads Junior Chapels at Choral Camp. As Cooking Camp Director, she meticulously plans the details of the camps so that each camper feels important and has access to the joy of cooking, resulting in a week they will always remember. She believes camp is a home away from home where campers experience life outdoors, try new things, and making last friendships.
