Linda is a potter, mixed media artist and owns and operates The Cracked Pot Studio in Chatham. She has studied at the University of Western Ontario, H. B. Beal Technical School and Waterloo University. She teaches pottery, drawing, water-colour painting, and black and white photography at St. Clair College, local elementary and secondary schools, and The Cracked Pot Studio. Linda’s community involvement has included acting as a founding member of “The Chatham-Kent Potters Guild†and serving on the steering committee for the “Thames Institute of the Artsâ€, as well as writing and teaching some of their programs. Linda shows and sells her work in galleries and stores in Chatham, Sarnia, London, and Toronto, and has received many awards for her work.
With Adullam, Linda volunteers at Training Event, Applauding the Arts, and Choral Camp. She has been passionately directing and teaching Art Camp for the past 26 years because she recognizes the need for youth to have the opportunity to discover and stretch their creative abilities into areas of the Arts. Adullam is also fortunate to have had Linda design and organize the crafts for each camp for the past 30 years. She makes each craft relate to daily or weekly themes.
