Code of Conduct
The following statement is to be read and signed by the camper and their parent/guardian upon registering for camp(s). It is included in our registration process:
Adullam Camps Statement of Code of Behaviour
Our aim is for every camper to have the best camping experience possible. We value an environment where everyone treats themselves and others with respect.
Although our staff, leaders and volunteers are highly trained, we are unable to provide educational assistants or one-on-one supervision of campers, that may be expected in a public school system.
All staff are trained in our behaviour management and anti-bullying policies. If a child requires correction, that child is removed from the situation and spoken to about the need for a change in behaviour. We partner with the camper to come up with a solution that works for everyone. If there is no change in the camper’s behaviour, the camper’s parent/guardian will be called to discuss options. This may involve removal from the event.
We understand that Adullam reserves the right to cancel my child’s participation in his or her camp session if his or her behaviour is deemed by our event director to be unmanageable or dangerous to him or herself, other campers, or staff members of Adullam. Camp program fees are non-refundable. We understand that Adullam will not tolerate any violence by campers, LITs, volunteers or our own staff. Any offenders will be sent home immediately at the parents’ expense. By signing this, parents and campers have confirmed that they have read and discussed this agreement.
Having discussed this with my child, we are in agreement with the above statement.
