The Ultimate LIT Experience!
Adullam’s Leader-in-Training (LIT) program challenges high school students to step beyond their comfort zone! It is open to all students entering grade 10-11 in September 2025 (presently in grades 9-10). Over the course of the summer, the Adullam LITs develop their leadership skills and, equally importantly, can develop friendships that last a lifetime. LITs explore the Christian faith and face challenges together. The variety of the LIT experience is partly what makes this program so unique. LITs are challenged to advance their canoeing and camping skills in a true outdoor setting. They receive top-notch, camp-specific leadership training and they develop their abilities in fine art, music, and drama under the direction of accomplished artists.
Our Leader in Training (LIT) program is a 2 week commitment. It begins with an LIT Launch weekend where LITs really get to know one another and experience camp! Their experience continues into the following week, during which LITs attend leadership training sessions and have a lot of fun learning from and with Adullam and HAM camp staff. During their week of training, LITs are supported in preparing for their backcountry camping adventure; the second week of the LIT program which takes place in Algonquin Park.
LITs are invited to practice and further develop their leadership skills by volunteering at additional camps throughout the summer. After registering as an LIT, LIT’s will be contacted to discuss volunteer interest/options further.
In addition to registering at the link below, our LITs are also asked to complete the following package for you to learn more about the program and for us to learn more about you so we can plan the best LIT experience possible!
