DRESDEN DAY CAMP -JULY 12 - 16
Another resounding successful camp at Dresden this year with 87
campers registered.
And an average of 82 per day showed up.
Camp games with 4 rotations each morning and afternoon. 19 volunteers
provided necessary assistance and nutrition breaks that made the team's job
that much easier.
Captain John Dodman, Dan Sommer, Matt Derynck, Andrew Derynck, Alicia
Stronks, Alaura Tiffin, and Julieann Zandberg, with Lit Emily Dodman
provided great leadership to each camper.
Singsongs were a hit and devotions were conducted well and good
participation was experienced.
The over night was a success with 25 Grade 5 - 8 campers taking part.
They went swimming had hot dogs and marshmallows and night games until 11
p.m. when the supervisor went to bed.
Morning brought Pastor Paterson, Janice Paterson, and Pete Anglin
preparing pancakes and ham along with juice at 8 o'clock on Thusday.
On Friday the traditional mud ga-ga ball game was enjoyed by all
campers.
A great week was thus concluded.
